In 1997 I was goofing around with bulletin board stuff on a Sun (actually a cheapo Tatung), learning to work with a Unix server at Delft university; Hilarious copy at "Question: Error creating base article: HyperNews does not know who the user is..." and "Ok: I got SWS to work"

Outlook 98 was horrible; Malicious behavior performed by MS Outlook 98 (application/ms-tnef) performing its stunt at "Not read: fuel cells and boats", after which I had to write a follow up to the list "Blame Microsoft, as usual - was (RE: Read: fuel cells and boats)".

I am known for posting stupid messages, for example "Re: Think 3D, anyone Familiar with this SW???" and "Re: 3d Hardware acceleration".

I did manage to say something somewhat sensible about computer hardware: Re: AutoCAD LT - Celeron or Pentium II

Hilarious things happen when co-workers send private emails to newsgroups by accident: "Re: mijn naam ".

Computer Aided Desgin had my interest for a while; "Re: Surface modellers", "Re: Soft Windows 95 and Major Programs", "Re: Shade 3D for the Mac" tried to clarify CAD matters to other people. Or make silly posts like "Re: Industrial Design Vs. Product Design".

Long before Zope got big, I played around with Bobo on my 486DX2 home computer: "Can't get trinket.py to work with Bobo on (Win95 and PWS)".

The PHP fgets function upset recently me in 2004, fgets can't take variable as buffer length argument. Just as fwrite fails after writing 8k bytes did.

I thought I was smart not posting directly to a mailing list, turns out people copy-paste your email anyway " RE: mpg321". Ah, well, at least it wasn't complete non-sense, mentioning the finer workings of user/group rights on devices, i.e. you need to be in the audio group to be allowed to play music on your computer.
