Tre Cime Panorama (1)

With 17 snapshots I tried to create a panorama photo of the pass at Tre Cime / Drei Zinnen in the Italian Dolomite Alpes. Last week, I was hard at work to scan the 17 film negatives and patch them all into one large canvas. Here’s a preview of the panorama. It still needs a lot of work; The color in each scan needs to be corrected so that the blue hue is consistent.

If you follow the link on the thumb (!) above, you’ll see a 7000 pixel wide panorama, in a 800 kb JPEG. So be patient, and you might need to click on some button in your browser to zoom in to the original 100% size.
